About the Author

Darryl Fabia is a 27-year-old copyeditor from New York and he’s been writing for enough years that he doesn’t bother counting them.  He’s a fan of boisterous crowds at opening night movies and prefers paperback books over any other kind (though the Kindle is winning him over, bitterly).  A well-spent evening is with a movie and his wife, and the perfect meal is a sandwich, pretzels, and a bowl of soup.

Movies he loves include The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, The Dark Crystal, and The Fountain.  His favorite books would be It by Stephen King, The Moor’s Last Sigh by Salman Rushdie, and Coraline by Neil Gaiman, and counts those authors among his inspirations.  He loves fantasy books, the supernatural, horror stories, often a mix of all those.  Chances are if you spy his iPod he’ll be listening to Arjen Lucassen, Pink Floyd, Tori Amos, Led Zeppelin, or Florence and the Machine.  He’s all over action movies with a heart or brain, or both.  Presently he lives in Maryland with his better half and several types of little beastly rodents.
